1. How Does The Program Work?
Our model is straightforward and simple. We provide Affiliates and Merchants a forum to acquire customers. Affiliates access products and lead programs; then combine with the most robust technology platform and marketing/reporting tools available today.
2. Are the product prices customizable?
Yes, we call this SYOP - Set Your Own Price. With Whalop, the affiliate can choose the web retail sale price they want to sell a product for. "Set Your Own Price" can be done many different ways: by percentage; by the actual dollar profit you determine you want to make, or by product group/type.
3. Is there a cap on the amount of times I can change a price?
NO. Whalop makes it as easy as possible for possible for affiliates to adjust selling strategies as often as they like.
4. Can I set my prices to anything I want?
Yes, with one exception. The system will not allow you to set the prices below the wholesale price of the product, but otherwise you can set the price to whatever you believe the market dictates.
5. Do you send out reorder emails?
Yes, reorder emails are generated every day to all customers that have "opted-in" to our continuity program. This logic is available in nearly every product line we support. It enables our affiliates to earn a residual income from all customers that participate.
6. Can you notify me when I get a sale?
Absolutely! For every sale made, you will receive an email notification informing you of the date, time, amount, and commission dollars owed. You can also view campaigns/programs you are promoting by logging onto our system and accessing our superior reporting and tracking tools.
7. When am I paid my Earned Commissions?
Payment cycles run weekly form Saturday 00:000h to Friday 23:59h. Commissions are paid one week in arrears every Friday. Payments can be sent by check, ACH, or bank wire (depending on your preference).
8. Is there a change for commission wires?
Depending upon the financial institution there may by a nominal fee charged to you by your bank for this service.
9. Is there a minimum amount before I will get paid?
Yes, you will need a minimum commission balance of $25 before we pay commission.
10. Is there any charge to me for using your Affiliate program?
No, that’s the best part: we've done all the work for you - just sign up and once accepted affiliates may immediately start marketing.
11. Do you always ship orders the same day?
If a customer's order is placed before 2 PM EST, it ships the same day. If the order arrives after 2 PM EST, the order ships the following business day. If the order is placed over the weekend, it will be shipped on the following Monday, (unless that Monday is a holiday).
12. What Shipping Methods do you provide?
Whalop supports multiple carries along with various priority shipping methods via: FedEx, UPS, and the United States Postal Service. Carrier availability is product line dependent.
13. What does Whalop charge for shipping?
Shipping costs are product line dependent. In most cases, shipping costs are embedded into the wholesale price. But here's an important reminder - Whalop is the only affiliate network to offer shipping cart technology and tools that enable the affiliate to turn shipping into a profit center.
14. Can I have multiple websites?
Yes, download as many websites as you desire. Try different designs, set different prices - compete against yourself for traffic - set your goals to own an entire product line or target a specific product. The choice is yours.
15. How do I choose a website layout?
With Whalop’s Template WizardTM, in minutes, you can build your own custom search engine-friendly website for an array of products. Choose any one or more of our free expertly-designed templates and start generating income today.
16. What platforms do your websites support?
Our templates are designed in HTML with some JavaScript. If you choose to host your own web pages, your can host them at the ISP of your choice. Whether your site is hosted through Whalop or your own ISP, all customer orders are placed directly onto our checkout and shopping cart technology – removing the need for you to purchase your own SSL certificates.
17. Can I join your program using my existing website?
Yes, you can use one of two options to participate. Change the order links along with one of our data feed tools on your existing sites to point traffic to our shopping cart or you use Whalop’s Sitebuilder™ to build a new website using your existing domain name. You can also send us your orders via XML and continue to use your own shopping cart. If you choose not to do your own changes, our affiliate mangers and highly skilled technical support team are always available to help. We make sending and tracking orders simple and flexible.
18. Can I make changes to my website?
Yes, the website HTML is fully customizable. If you need help, our affiliate mangers and technical support team are always available to help and/or make suggestions on how you can improve upon your success.
19. Do you provide support to the Affiliates/Advertisers/Marketers?
Yes, we provide each audience with full support. Whether you have questions as you set up your Whalop built site or a technical issue for an existing site. Our goal is to insure the success of all associates and business partners.
20. I’m not based in the U.S, can I still join?
Yes, non-U.S.-based agents are welcomed.
21. Will I be the owner of my website’s domain name?
Yes, if you purchase the domain name, you remain the owner. Build your own brands!
22. Do you offer Hosting Services?

23. What products will be available on my websites?
You will be able to sell any of the highly profitable products we offer. And, you may also choose to participate in our Ink or Pet Programs. Either way, we offer choice and flexibility.
24. Will purchases made from my websites be secure?
Yes, all orders from your website are processed on our secure server using an SSL certificate.
25. Could you recommend any marketing strategies to make my business profitable?
There are a few free methods you might wish to consider, which usually pay off, such as recruiting other agents or exchanging banners to increase your website traffic. However, the best profits come from high-ranking on major search engines. This can be achieved either through search engine optimization or pay-per-click advertising. 26. Is SPAM allowed in order to market my websites?
We have a strict anti-spam policy. SPAM is not permitted or tolerated. Agents will be immediately terminated if Whalop receives excessive SPAM complaints about your website. You will lose all outstanding commissions once you are terminated.
